The entire veneer treatment consists of only 2 appointments in our office. At the first appointment, your teeth will be prepared to receive the veneers by removing a thin layer of the enamel. An oral scan or a dental impression will then be taken of your teeth and sent to the dental laboratory to make your custom veneers. Then, before you leave, temporary veneers will be placed to protect your teeth.
At the last appointment, porcelain veneers will be checked for fit and then cemented onto your teeth. Although veneers are an excellent option to enhance your smile, they are unfortunately not permanent. If taken care of properly, dental veneers will last decades.
